Medical Affairs Advisor / Manager

Our Clients is an ambitious and fast growing company, very active, both commercially and from an R & D perspective, in the areas of neurology, psychiatry and clinical / aesthetic dermatology.

The need exists for a Medical Affairs Manager who will provide Medical Affairs leadership to the various UK business units on all aspects of the product portfolio.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the medical final signatory of all promotional materials for the promoted brands (pharmaceuticals and medical devices).  This role is additionally responsible for ensuring operational excellence of PMCPA and medical device code compliance systems so that the company can meet its ethical and legal obligations, together with the provision of high quality medical information services for both internal and external stakeholders.

Our Client is willing to consider candidates who have an interest in the permanent position as well as those who would consider the role on a long-term interim basis, probably 4-5 days per week.   Candidates must either be a UK registered physician or  have a degree in Pharmacy and be a registered UK Pharmacist.  EXperience in the pharmaceutical industry within Medical Information or Drug safety would be a real advantage.  Knowledge of the ABPI Code of Practice is essential.
