CRO : Pharmacy Distribution Manager (Interim)

Our Client is a highly ambitious and full service international Contract Research Organisation (CRO) with capabilities in both early stage and late stage clinical development.

The company is headquartered in the UK, but has operations across Europe, Australia and the United States, together with capabilities in multiple other territories.

The company currently has almost 100 clinical trials running for its clients.

Given the rapidly growing size and complexity of the business, the need has emerged for an experienced professional to assume the role of Interim Pharmacy Distribution Manager, a position reporting to the company’s Head of Pharmacy.

The primary responsibility of the assignment will be to design and build a framework for the packaging, labelling, external distribution, tracking and recall of the drugs it is investigating on behalf of its clients.   Amongst the deliverables will be a set of solid and functioning SOP’s that will allow the company to operate effectively and with full confidence.

It is anticipated that this assignment will be a 3-6 month assignment, most likely demanding not less than 3 days per week.

Candidates are likely to have performed a similar role in another CRO, be very aware of the highly regulated environment in which the work takes place and be fully cognizant of the trust and responsibility that is placed upon the company by its pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients.

This is an excellent opportunity in an ambitious and growing company. The contribution to be made will be highly visible and of critical importance.

If this opportunity is a good fit with your own areas of experience and expertise, please make contact with Geoff Newman (Interea) as soon as possible.
